From Baltimore, Maryland, David’s broad musical interests and passion for music hails all the way back from his college days at the University of Maryland as he started playing in many free, live DC music concerts during the Vietnam Protest Era.
Since then, David “Candyman” Rosenberg has become a journeyman harmonica player who plays an eclectic mix of Chicago and Jump Blues, Rock, R & B, Funk, and Jazz. David has played with Bobby Parker, The Ursula Ricks Project, as well as sat in with many popular area bands, such as Moonshine Society, Nothing But Trouble, The Wide-Eyed Lounge Cats, The Roger Girke Band, Automatic Slim & His Sensational Band, and others.
The Candyman is a passionate harmonica player whose energizing performances are well received by fans young and old alike; and he has performed at The Cat’s Eye Pub, Bertha’s Mussels, The Mobtown Ballroom, and the Eastern Music Festival just to name a few.
